My students learned how Mi'kmaq people use talking sticks during their meetings. They really enjoyed making their own.
During independent reading time today, my students looked for high frequency words in the books that they are reading. Then they posted the words they found on our whiteboard.
My students had a great time gathering fall leaves to make their Thanksgiving turkeys. They turned out so well!
